My goal is to capture your true self, without forced smiles and awkward posing. I will guide you through the photosession. At the same time I like observing and waiting for the genuine expression and moment to appear spontaneously. My wish is that you enjoy and have fun during the photosession, while I'm just there - taking magical pictures for you.
My lifestyle photosessions inlcude both portraits and playful pictures, pictures in motion, as well as calm moments and candid moments.
I like colours & contrast and my editing style reflects that. I believe colours bring joy and brighten our everyday days. Beside my colorful photographs, I hope you will also enjoy my timeless black-and-white edits that can be moody as well as delicate.
Photoshoot duration
The duration of a lifestyle photosession is typically 1,5 h but we can extend or shorten it by up to 30 min, as needed. During this time, we'll take portraits, group photos, candid photos, some playful moments (with children and pets) as well as moody photos and photos with the overall scenery.
Location
The location for your photoshoot has no limits. You can choose your favourite place - anything from your home, garden, sandy beach, flowery field, forest path, or a path along the shores; town, parks, playgrounds, your neighborhood, an idyllic boathouse, or a cosy viewpoint - anywhere you like it and feel comfortable. Or I'll be happy to give you tips for interesting places with pure natural sceneries or special atmosphere.
Driving to the location is gratis within 30 km from Ålesund-Magerholm. Distances over 30 km will be charged 6,- NOK per km. Road toll fees outside Bypakke Ålesund and ferry fees will be charged according to current prices.
Photo hours
I do photosessions at working days as well as weekends. In the winter months (November - February), the light window is a bit shorter (10:00 - 14:30) than the rest of the year. As the daylight gets longer towards the summer, photoshoots can be arranged early or late when the sun is lower, as well as before and during sunsets.
What to wear
The general recommendation is to wear nice clothes (but you can of course wear what you want) - avoid all black or too dark clothes, strong colours and strong patterns (stripes are ok). Avoid clothes with large letters, logos and graphics that distract or steal attention. Remember, the clothes are part of the picture. If you are in doubt or indecisive, don't be afraid to ask me for advice.
Photographs
Within 15 working days from photographing, you will receive a confidential link to your Photogallery where you can review a broader selection of pre-edited photos from your photosession, and choose the ones you like best.
You can freely choose how many digital photos you wish to purchase or choose a photo package (prices here). After the purchase, you will obtain a link with high resolution edited digital photographs of your choice with no logos or watermarks. All purchased photos are for your personal use, including print release.
Children's Birthday
Duration of the photosession is set to 2,5 h and can be extended or shortened if needed. You can choose from variable photo packages (prices here).
I will take photos wherever and whenever your child's birthday celebration takes place - your home, activity park, restaurant, playground ... indoors or outdoors (or both). I count with late afternoons, weekends, and holiday days.
I will arrive approx. 30 min ahead of the official start of the celebration to take photos of the birthday child alone, with siblings and family. I will also take photos of the decorations, cakes, premises etc. During the party, I'll keep focus on the birthday child, but I will also take photos of guests, activities and important moments, and if the participants of the celebration are up for it, I will take festive group/friends photos.
Please, inform all the parents of the party's guests about the presence of a photographer at the party, and inquire about their consent. Read more in Terms of service here.

The weather is an important and unpredictable factor for outdoor photoshoots, and life can bring unexpected twists and turns as well. You can always re-schedule your photosession should the weather (or life) be sub-optimal on the photoshoot day.
For newborn photosessions, let me know your due date so I can check my availability around and after this date.
