Life in the oceans

So many fascinating creatures and habitats that are so unlike the world on land. Diving (and snorkeling) has became my favorite activity ever since my very first scuba dive in 2013.

It was the desire to photograph the beautiful, mystical and eerie underwater world, which woke up the interest for photography with advanced digital cameras and with that also the technical aspects of photography and photo editing.

After getting a family, I do not snorkel and scuba dive so often anymore but I hope I will be exploring (and photographing) the hidden world in the oceans one day again, ideally together with my children.
